Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 6, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of Signalify. They cover accounts, subscriptions, the Pro trial, review content, imports, public widgets, and other features of the Service.
About Signalify and acceptance of these Terms
Signalify is a software-as-a-service platform for collecting, importing, managing, and displaying customer reviews, testimonials, and related social proof through public pages and embeddable widgets.
By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using Signalify, you agree to these Terms. If you use Signalify on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If mandatory consumer law applies to you, nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Accounts and account security
- You must provide accurate and current account information.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity performed through your account.
- You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorised access or misuse.
- You may not share, sell, or transfer an account in a way that bypasses plan limits or trial eligibility.
- We may require email verification or other reasonable checks to protect the Service and prevent abuse.
Plans, limits, and feature availability
Signalify may offer Free, Pro, Max, or other plans. Current prices, billing periods, usage limits, and included features are shown on the pricing page or in the billing area of the Service.
Plan limits may include projects, reviews, widgets, imports, storage, analytics, or access to premium features. Features described as unlimited remain subject to reasonable technical, security, and fair-use safeguards designed to protect the Service.
We may improve, replace, or discontinue features. We will provide reasonable notice where a material change negatively affects an active paid subscription, unless an immediate change is required for security, legal compliance, or service integrity.
Pro free trial
Eligible new users may receive one 90-day free trial of the Pro plan. The trial applies only to Pro and is not available for Max. Eligibility is determined by Signalify and may require a verified email, no previous Signalify trial, and no previous paid Signalify subscription.
No payment method is required to begin an eligible trial. During the trial, the account receives the Pro features and limits described on the pricing page.
If you add a valid payment method before the trial ends, the selected monthly or yearly Pro subscription will begin automatically when the trial ends at the price disclosed when you started the trial or added the payment method.
If no valid payment method is available when the trial ends, the Pro trial ends and the account moves to the Free plan. Your projects, reviews, widgets, and other stored data are not automatically deleted, but paid features may become locked or paused.
A trial may not be transferred, combined, repeatedly claimed through multiple accounts, or obtained through misleading information. We may cancel or refuse a trial where we reasonably detect abuse, fraud, or an attempt to circumvent eligibility rules.
Subscriptions, billing, and automatic renewal
Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a paid plan, you authorise Stripe and Signalify to charge the applicable recurring fees, taxes, and other amounts shown at checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly or yearly billing period unless cancelled before the next renewal date. Your billing page or Stripe Customer Portal shows available payment, invoice, and cancellation controls.
You are responsible for keeping your billing and payment information current. If payment fails, access to paid features may be restricted, paused, or returned to the Free plan after any applicable retry or grace period.
We may change prices for future billing periods. Where required, we will provide advance notice and the new price will apply from a future renewal rather than retroactively.
Cancellation, downgrades, and refunds
You may cancel a paid subscription through the billing area or Stripe Customer Portal. Unless clearly stated otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and paid access continues until then.
When a subscription ends or an account downgrades, Signalify does not automatically delete your projects, reviews, widgets, or configuration. The account moves to the applicable lower-plan limits. New creation may be blocked while usage is above those limits, and premium widgets or features may stop rendering publicly until the account upgrades again.
Existing over-limit data remains stored subject to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and our retention practices. You remain responsible for exporting any data you need before deleting your account.
Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly stated by Signalify. If you are a consumer with a statutory right of withdrawal or another mandatory remedy, those rights remain unaffected.
Reviews, testimonials, and other user content
You retain ownership of reviews, testimonials, images, names, profile details, source links, tags, and other content that you or your customers submit to Signalify.
You grant Signalify a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited licence to host, process, reproduce, format, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service and to provide the public pages and widgets you configure.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have a lawful basis and all necessary permissions to collect, import, store, publish, and display the content. You must honour valid requests from reviewers or other data subjects where applicable.
- Do not create, purchase, import, or publish fake, deceptive, manipulated, or materially misleading reviews.
- Do not present reviews in a way that falsely implies endorsement, verification, or a source that does not apply.
- Do not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, infringing, private, or otherwise harmful.
- Do not include sensitive personal data unless it is strictly necessary, lawful, and appropriate for the intended public display.
Review collection and invitations
Signalify may provide public review forms, review-request links, email templates, WhatsApp or SMS copy, QR codes, and related tools. Unless the Service expressly states otherwise, templates and copy are provided for you to send manually and do not mean Signalify sends messages on your behalf.
You are responsible for ensuring that review requests and other communications comply with marketing, privacy, consumer-protection, anti-spam, and platform rules that apply to you and your recipients.
You must not use Signalify to send unsolicited, deceptive, harassing, or unlawful communications.
Imports and third-party review sources
Signalify may allow imports from CSV files, ecommerce review tools, testimonial platforms, Google reviews, social platforms, or other sources. Some imports are manual and are not live integrations or continuous synchronisations.
You are responsible for your right to export and import the content and for complying with the terms and policies of the original platform. A source name, icon, or label in Signalify identifies the source selected or provided during import and is not a guarantee that Signalify independently verified the review.
Signalify may store source labels, source URLs, and externally hosted image URLs for attribution, duplicate detection, and display. Signalify does not promise that third-party URLs or external images will remain available.
Public widgets, attribution, and analytics
You may embed Signalify widgets on websites you control or are authorised to manage. You are responsible for your website, its content, and the lawful use of embedded widgets.
Free-plan widgets may display a subtle “Powered by Signalify” attribution link. Eligible paid plans may remove this attribution while the subscription remains entitled to do so. If the account downgrades, the attribution may automatically reappear.
Signalify may measure privacy-conscious widget events such as views, form opens, submissions, and last activity. These metrics are estimates and may be affected by browsers, blockers, connectivity, caching, or implementation differences. We do not guarantee that analytics are complete or suitable for financial or legal reporting.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Signalify for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity.
- Interfere with, overload, probe, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.
- Upload malware, harmful code, excessive automated requests, or content designed to disrupt the Service.
- Circumvent subscriptions, plan limits, trials, access controls, or security protections.
- Use Signalify to impersonate another person or organisation or to misrepresent the authenticity or origin of reviews.
- Resell or provide the Service as a competing standalone platform without written permission.
- Use automated extraction or scraping of Signalify beyond documented or expressly permitted interfaces.
Privacy and data protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how Signalify processes account, billing, usage, and website data. When you submit customer or reviewer personal data to Signalify, you are generally responsible for determining why and how that data is used, while Signalify processes it to provide the Service, subject to applicable law and any applicable data-processing terms.
You must provide all required privacy notices and obtain any consent or other lawful basis needed for the data you collect through Signalify.
You must not use Signalify to process data in a way that violates applicable privacy or data-protection law. Where required, additional data-processing terms may apply.
Third-party services
Signalify relies on third-party providers for services such as hosting, databases, storage, authentication, payments, analytics, email, and infrastructure. These providers may include Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, and other vendors identified in our Privacy Policy or subprocessors information.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and availability. Signalify is not responsible for an outage, restriction, policy change, or loss caused solely by a third-party service outside our reasonable control, although we will take reasonable steps to maintain and restore the Service.
Signalify intellectual property
Signalify and its software, branding, designs, documentation, and related materials are owned by or licensed to the operator of Signalify and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your own internal business or authorised website purposes during your account’s valid use of Signalify.
Feedback and suggestions may be used to improve Signalify without creating an obligation to compensate you, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
Service availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security work, provider outages, and updates may temporarily affect access.
We may modify the Service to improve quality, security, legal compliance, or product direction. We may also impose reasonable technical limits to protect performance and prevent abuse.
Beta, preview, experimental, or early-access features may change or be removed and are provided without a service-level commitment unless separately agreed in writing.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create legal or security risk, misuse the Service, or use it in a way that could harm Signalify, its users, or third parties.
Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, unlawful activity, or material harm.
You may stop using Signalify and request account deletion. Some billing, security, legal, backup, and transaction records may be retained where required or permitted by law, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Signalify provides tools for collecting and displaying content but does not independently verify every review, identity, statement, source, business claim, or imported record. You are responsible for how content is selected, moderated, represented, and published.
Except where prohibited by law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties that it will meet every requirement, generate a particular conversion result, or be continuously available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Signalify will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or data arising from use of the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Signalify’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Signalify during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. For Free users, the aggregate liability will not exceed EUR 100.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights or liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or other matters that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Responsibility for claims
To the extent permitted by law, business users agree to defend and indemnify Signalify against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from their unlawful content, misuse of the Service, infringement of third-party rights, or breach of these Terms.
This section does not apply to consumers to the extent it would conflict with mandatory consumer-protection law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, security, or operational changes. The “Last updated” date will be revised when changes are published.
For material changes affecting active paid users, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service, by email, or by another appropriate method. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the law of your habitual residence.
Before starting formal proceedings, both parties should attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute by contacting the other party. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law will handle unresolved disputes.
